Preventative Dental Care
Preventative Dental Care is a way to take care of your teeth and gums to prevent oral diseases and maintain a healthy smile1234. It involves regular dental check-ups, professional cleanings, and good habits like brushing, flossing, and maintaining a healthy diet.
Hygiene
Hygiene is a professional procedure that involves removing plaque and tartar from the teeth and gums, checking for signs of gingivitis or other problems, taking x-rays, polishing the teeth, and applying fluoride or sealants if needed. A dental hygienist uses special tools like a scaler, a curette, a polisher, and a suction device to perform the cleaning.
Periodontist
A Periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease (a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the gums and bone supporting the teeth also known as gum disease), and in the placement of dental implants. Periodontists receive extensive training in both of these areas and more, including three additional years of education beyond dental school
Oral surgery
Oral surgery is any procedure that involves cutting into or removing tissue from your mouth. It includes procedures like removing a tooth, gum surgery, and getting dental implants. Oral surgery also includes getting rid of diseased tissue from the mouth, correcting jaw problems, or repairing a cleft lip or palate.
Endodontists
Endodontists are dentists who specialize in tooth pain, disease, and infection. Endodontics refers to conditions where the nerves of the tooth become injured or diseased. In these situations, treatment by an Endodontist is required. The most common type of endodontics is known as Root Canal Therapy. Root Canal Treatment is recommended once decay progresses and affects the tooth’s nerve. You may require root canal treatment to clear out the infected tissue and save the tooth. During the procedure, we remove the nerve and other soft tissue inside the tooth, fill the empty space with an elastic material, and seal it to keep out any further chance of infection. A treated tooth is more vulnerable to chipping or cracking, so we may install a crown over it to prevent damage.
Dental X-rays
Dental X-rays can help your dentist detect oral health issues, like cavities and gum disease, before they worsen. There are many different types of dental X-rays, including intraoral (taken inside your mouth) and extraoral (taken outside your mouth). Dental X-rays are essential to proper oral health and maintenance.
Dental Sealants
Dental Sealants are used to fill in deeper fissures you may have on the tops of your back molars. Filling in these cracks makes teeth easier to clean and decreases the chances of tooth decay.

Dental Implants
Implants are used to replace missing roots and support artificial replacement teeth. They are comfortable and look like natural teeth.
What are dental implants?
A dental implant is an artificial root made of titanium metal. It is inserted into the jawbone to replace the root of the natural tooth. An artificial replacement tooth is attached to the implant. The implant acts as an anchor to hold the replacement tooth in place. Missing teeth affect many aspects of your life, including your oral health, appearance, and even the ability to chew or speak clearly in some cases. Losing one or more teeth and neglecting to resolve the gaps in your smile can lead to additional dental problems. The changes in your jawbone and teeth alignment can also alter your face and make you look older. Dental implants to restore your smile and prevent all these problems from affecting you.
